One of my Christmas gifts to JoJo: the complete Pixar collection on Blu-Ray, in matching packaging I designed. I purchased each movie we didn’t already have, and transferred them to Criterion’s beautiful all-art, all-clear cases. The fronts, backs, spines, and insides of all 14 cases feature original Pixar development and concept art that I scavenged from various books n’ blogs and pieced together into designs that are hopefully a little more complimentary to the films than the character clipart Disney uses. Gonna make some little guidebooks for all of ‘em, with cast & crew info and bonus listings.

I don’t understand how he’s ‘objectifying’ them. He’s not calling them fat or ugly or skinny or anything of the sort. He only makes mention of actual looks when he gets to Anita and Perdita.
Honestly, I’m all for equal rights for people of all groups and I’m against sexism and racism and all of that, but really, do we have to read into everything? First off, this has nothing to do with objectifying women, but even if it did at all, it’s a Disney movie, it was made in 1961. It’s not making dead baby or child-raping jokes. Get over it, though Pongo isn’t objectifying women. But again, unless it’s something absolutely horrible, can we please have a sense of humor? I really like this scene.
